Runstra is built around your privacy. Here is what we collect, why, and how we handle it.

1. What We Collect

• Account information: your email, name, and username when you sign up.
• Profile details: bio, city, and state if you choose to share them.
• Health data: steps, distance, calories, workouts, GPS routes from Apple Health or Health Connect, only with your explicit permission.
• Live run data: when you start a Live Run, your distance and steps are shared with the friends you invited, in real time.

2. How We Use It

• To show your stats on your own profile and to friends you connect with.
• To compute your league, streak, and personal bests.
• To send you notifications you opt into.
• We do not sell your personal data to third parties.

3. Health Data

Health data stays on your device by default. We only access what you explicitly grant via Apple Health or Health Connect. You can revoke access at any time from your phone's Health settings.

4. Sharing With Friends

Your stats are visible to people you mutually follow on Runstra. You decide who to follow and who to invite.

5. Data Retention

Your data is stored for as long as your account exists. You can delete your account from Settings → Delete Account at any time, which will permanently remove all your data within 30 days.

6. Children

Runstra is not intended for children under 13.
